About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
  • Work on full lifecycle design projects, from concept to final assembly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets client requirements.
  • Produce technical drawings and documentation, including project reports and plans.
  • Update 3D models and drawings to reflect design changes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar Design/Mechanical Engineering position.
  • Excellent proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, fluid handling, hydraulics, piping, instrumentation, structural steel, or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, injection moulded plastics, welding, fabrication, castings, etc.
  • Degree/HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Proven ability to drive Engineering development and innovation.
  • Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge.
