Thornbury Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to join our team. As a valued member of our community-based care team, you will have the opportunity to work with a 5-year-old female client with a diagnosis of Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, providing bespoke care and support to enable her to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our clients, promoting independence and dignity.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting health and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our care services, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in paediatric nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.
- Knowledge of paediatric care principles and practices, including care and use of gastrostomy.
