Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the long-term objectives and priorities of the Life Services businesses.
  • Lead the technology investment cycle for Life Services, ensuring that technology obsolescence is managed and the right investments are made.
  • Ensure that our Co-op architectural governance, technology strategy, and architectural guardrails are adhered to at all times.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Be accountable for the architecture deliverables.
  • Guide product and platform technology decisions.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture community at Co-op, effectively representing Life Services needs and balancing priorities.

Requirements

  • Significant Enterprise Architecture experience in a large organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading enterprise-scale technology transformation.
  • The ability to anticipate and advise on technology opportunities and risks.
  • A deep understanding of common design, technology, and data principles, particularly in systems characterised by high levels of risk, impact, and business or technical complexity.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively.
