Grounds Maintenance Team Leader Opportunity

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Parkwood Holdings Limited. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for leading a team of grounds maintenance operatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the effective management of programmed maintenance operations.
  2. Proactively lead by example in grounds maintenance work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  3. Manage and maintain the security of company vehicles, plant, and equipment.
  4. Complete daily check sheets and paperwork to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  5. Provide support and guidance to the service delivery team, including grounds maintenance operatives.
  6. Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness levels.

Requirements:

  1. Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with a strong awareness of health and safety legislation.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  3. Supervisory/leadership experience is highly desirable.
  4. A full clean UK driving license is required, as you may be required to operate ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles/tow trailers.
  5. Certification in PA1 & PA6 is highly desirable.
