About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our expanding Corporate Audit team at Pro-Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, leading and mentoring a team of auditors, and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors, including those operating under IFRS and FRS 102.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of auditors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and supporting their professional development.
  • Audit Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments, meeting client and regulatory deadlines.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain and build strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and providing strategic advice where needed.
  • Technical Expertise: Review audit work and financial statements, ensuring compliance with technical standards and firm policies.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve audit issues, providing innovative solutions and value-added advice to clients.
  • Business Development: Assist with business development efforts, contributing to the growth of the audit practice through networking and client proposals.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and process improvements within the audit team to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience managing audits within a Big 4 or Top 10 environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience managing clients under IFRS and FRS 102, with a strong technical understanding of audit standards and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of auditors.
  • Business Acumen: A forward-thinking and proactive approach, with a strong focus on client service and business development.
  • Personal Qualities: Ambitious, diligent, and hardworking, with a passion for career progression and professional growth.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
