About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Navigator to join our team at Eastgate Medical Group. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be the first point of contact for patients accessing our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Manage patient conversations sensitively, both face-to-face and over the phone, to resolve queries and concerns.
  • Work accurately and effectively to maintain high standards of administration and data management.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of services, including signposting patients to the most appropriate services.
  • Provide administrative support, including new patient registrations, appointments diary, and templates, as well as on-call rota and staff holiday and sickness cover.

Requirements

  • Business administration qualification, NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft and email.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work accurately and effectively.
  • Excellent customer care skills and ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team.
  • Experience of EMIS Web/SystmOne/Vision clinical systems (desirable).
