  • Assess Organizational Capability: Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance organizational capability.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Work closely with business leaders and line management to provide expert guidance on HR matters, including compliance and risk management.
  • Develop HR Procedures and Policies: Develop and implement effective HR procedures and policies that reflect business aims and objectives.
  • Manage Recruitment Process: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that it is efficient and effective in attracting top talent.
  • Investigate Complex Employee Relations Issues: Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, including redundancy and grievance.
  • Evaluate and Recommend Training Programs: Evaluate and recommend cost-effective training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Develop Employee Engagement Plans: Develop and implement employee engagement plans to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent HR: Act as the externally facing representative for HR, providing guidance and support to employees and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Senior HR Experience: Extensive experience in a senior HR role, with a strong track record of driving people management strategy and managing HR teams.
  • Influencing Skills: Ability to influence at all levels, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and credibility, with the ability to make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Team Management: Extensive experience of managing a team, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • UK Employment Legislation: Thorough working knowledge of UK employment legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
