Job Overview

Lorien is seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Coventry. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the company's technical and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the architecture department to ensure their designs are aligned with the company's infrastructure strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on infrastructure best practices and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption within the company.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lead/Principal Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, including configuration and architecture.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory architecture, including EntraID and on-premise solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Azure IaaS services, with some understanding of AWS also beneficial.
  • Experience working at scale, preferably in regulated environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
