Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the regional marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Group Marketing Manager, this position is essential for the execution of various marketing initiatives, customer events, and communication strategies.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist the Marketing Events Specialist in organizing local customer events, ensuring all agreements and compliance requirements are met.
  • Provide on-site support for tradeshows as needed.
  • Facilitate logistical arrangements for the sales team.

Marketing Communications:

  • Act as the primary contact for customer-facing marketing communication projects, collaborating with various departments.
  • Manage direct customer communications through digital platforms.
  • Oversee the content creation process, tailoring materials for the UK & Ireland markets.
  • Collaborate with branding and design teams across Europe and globally.
  • Serve as the point of contact for submissions via the Content Management System.
  • Utilize project tracking systems to maintain high-quality collaboration within the marketing teams.
  • Support customer training events by assisting with presentation materials.

Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate logistics for promotional materials for events, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Manage contracts, vendor processes, and purchase orders.
  • Organize speaker agreements and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer surveys and contacts within the CRM system.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing or event management.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or event coordination.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
