You will work closely with our dedicated team of professionals to deliver high-quality certificate level lessons, exploring career paths, educational options, and personal development with groups of up to 15 learners. Your approach will be patient, passionate, and understanding, helping our learners to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality IAG training to groups of up to 15 learners
  • Work closely with the education team to develop and deliver lesson plans
  • Support learners in achieving their personal development goals
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure smooth lesson delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in the relevant vocational area
  • Willingness to gain PTLLS within 6 months
  • Commitment to gain a subject-specific qualification to allow you to train to Level 3 within 2 years
  • Commitment to gain an assessor award required by relevant Awarding Bodies within 1 year
  • Hold at least a Level 1 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE) or be willing to commit to gaining the qualification(s) within 1 year
  • Gain, hold, and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

HMP Five Wells is a state-of-the-art prison in Wellingborough, accommodating 1,680 residents.
