Job Summary
Allegis Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all aspects of infrastructure, project engineering, and live on-air events for our client, Warner Bros Discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Align technology roadmaps with different business units and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete requests in a timely manner, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and operators in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to coordinate regular maintenance, necessary upgrades, and address critical problems through to resolution.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of video and audio signals and standards, including HDR standards, and broadcast video over IP protocols and associated standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest standard.
- Author technical drawings and documentation to support project delivery and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in the TV and Media industry.
- Strong understanding of broadcast infrastructure, including video and audio signals, and broadcast video over IP protocols.
- Experience with AWS architectures and methodologies is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and handle high-volume projects.
- Superior organizational skills, with a high degree of flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to respond to changing priorities, timelines, and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BSc in IT, Engineering or similar technical degree or equivalent TV & Media industry experience.
- Understanding of video and audio signals and standards.
