The Security and Fire Alarm Systems Installation Specialist will coordinate the installation of security and fire alarm systems for AYS System, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installs, tests, and repairs security and fire alarm systems to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Consults with clients on system requirements, providing recommendations and cost estimates to ensure the best possible solution.
  • Uses blueprints and building plans to determine the most effective systems to install based on building layout and setting.
  • Runs wiring and circuits, installs hardware, and attaches electrical wires to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and electrical wiring, making adjustments and repairs as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary to maintain system integrity.
  • Ensures all systems comply with electrical and fire codes, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for our clients.
  • Explains and demonstrates system function and operation to end-users, ensuring they are fully aware of system capabilities and limitations.
  • Performs other related duties as required to support the success of AYS System.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of security and fire alarm systems and installation principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Ability to read installation and system manuals, as well as blueprints and building plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and fire codes to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware and perform system repairs.
