Applications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Specialist to join our team at Finning. As an Applications Specialist, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to customers, including on-site visits and remote assistance.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to develop and implement technical solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Engineering Advice: Provide expert engineering advice and support to customers, including technical problem-solving and solution development.
- Documentation: Prepare and deliver detailed project documentation and specifications to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and depot managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Education: Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of engines and engine installations, as well as experience in design, development, and validation of components.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
