About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, choosing when you want to work, while still enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and encouraging their development towards key milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
