Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Line Up Aviation. This is a permanent role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and performance of our product offerings.

Reporting Structure:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test Manager. The primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough evaluations of our product range.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule, execute, and document testing activities in accordance with established protocols.
2. Collaborate with the Test Engineering and MAIT teams to assess products for mechanical and thermal subsystem functionality, safety, compliance, and overall performance.
3. Perform a variety of tests including electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, thermal vacuum, and vibration, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Chief Engineering team.
4. Assemble and configure test setups for thermal, mechanical, RF, and electronic systems.
5. Compile comprehensive reports detailing findings and data collected during testing, providing insights and recommendations as necessary.
6. Regularly maintain and test equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
7. Develop and document test procedures and protocols as required by project or MAIT teams.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience as a test technician, preferably within a regulated sector such as Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, or Automotive. Key skills include:
- Proficient report writing and document analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with testing equipment, particularly thermal vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, laser scanners, and tensile pull testers.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage workload across multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- A quality-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 37 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate testing schedules and ongoing monitoring.

Additional Skills:
Knowledge of RF vector analyzers and data loggers (including thermocouples and accelerometers) is advantageous. Experience with modal testing and photogrammetry will also be beneficial.
