We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Datcom. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, nurturing strong partnerships, and ensuring the best quality service is provided.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust, credibility, and maintaining relationships.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to understand client needs and objectives, providing proactive support and advice, as well as fast and thorough reactive responses to queries.
- Work closely with the Account Director and Sales Team to develop strategic plans to expand business within targeted clients.
- Conduct contract renewals, engage in pricing negotiations on contracts and service provision, maximizing value for both Datcom and the client.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends, technologies, and versions, ensuring clients' technical landscapes represent the best solution for them.
- Technical IT background, with a Microsoft-based technical background being mandatory.
- Customer-obsessed, with a strong customer-centric focus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including senior executives and board members.
- Good business acumen, with an ability to understand small to medium-sized businesses' challenges.
- Pragmatic problem solver, attentive to detail, and able to work on multiple, complex projects at once.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to network, negotiate, and liaise with clients.
- Collaborative, with the ability to work cross-team and self-manage day-to-day workloads.
- General technical acumen and interest in new technology.
