The Role of Resident Engagement Coordinator at B&M Care Homes is pivotal in enriching the lives of residents through a dynamic lifestyle program that promotes meaningful engagement within the care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs, preferences, and aspirations of each resident through comprehensive profiles, life histories, Care Plans, observations, and personal interactions, all with a person-centered approach.
  • Adaptively respond to the diverse needs of residents and service delivery throughout the care home.
  • Design and oversee a weekly activity schedule for the home, collaborating with care staff and other team members, including during weekends and evenings.
  • Ensure that all necessary plans and resources are available for staff to implement in your absence.
  • Integrate all components of the B&M Care Engagement and Activities Framework into program planning.
  • Identify individuals who may be experiencing isolation and develop tailored, person-centered activities for them.
  • Communicate weekly schedules and updates effectively, utilizing technology for creating informative materials.
