Job Summary:

Gi Group (UK) is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Supervisor to lead a team of Assembly Operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the customer receives high-quality products on time and in the right quantity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, reporting any relevant issues to the immediate supervisor.
  2. Continuous Improvement: Focus on accomplishing departmental and plant goals, driving efficiency and productivity.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Guarantee that customer requirements are met, with a strong emphasis on quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
  4. Team Leadership: Spend time on the production floor, monitoring, coaching, and evaluating team performance to drive improvement.
  5. KPI Management: Develop and implement key performance indicators to support departmental development and strategic direction.
  6. Problem-Solving: Collaborate with engineers and project teams to identify and resolve problems, improving processes and workflows.
  7. Production Targets: Demonstrate drive and enthusiasm to meet monthly production targets, contributing to the company's overall success.
  8. Technical Expertise: Possess a practical understanding of mechanical assembly and hydraulic assembly processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
