Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Bill's Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading a section and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a section of the kitchen, managing a team of cooks and ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that we are operating within budget.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and menu launches.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
