About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at the Royal Armouries & New Dock Hall in Leeds. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales and revenue growth, while delivering exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively process enquiries for a number of events and work collaboratively with the sales team to increase and enhance revenues, achieving overall targets.
  • Conduct reactive sales activities, including responding to customer requests and enquiries, to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Proactively sell the facilities by various techniques, aiming to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of accurate and timely customer, staff, and management information.
  • Develop client, venue, and internal relationships through knowledgeable and effective enquiry handling.
  • Ensure a high level of conversion of bookings to achieve and exceed targets set.
  • Work with event planners effectively to provide a seamless handover for final event details.
Requirements
  • Possess sales or event planning experience within the UK conference and events industry.
  • Be able to work on own initiative and be a confident decision maker.
  • Have a generally outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction.
  • Have excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
  • Be self-motivated and able to maintain focus in the achievement of sales targets.
  • Have a thorough approach to work.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office and have a good understanding of database management.
  • Be confident and able to work as part of a team.
  • Have the ability to inspire customer trust and confidence.
  • Have the ability to multi-task, think fast, and deliver solutions to customer requirements.
  • Have a passion for events and food.
  • Experience using Delphi/Salesforce would be advantageous.
