About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As a key member of our Under 18's Crisis Service, you will play a vital role in providing community-based intensive support to children, young people, and their families across Norfolk and Waveney.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical interventions and risk assessments to support young people and their families
  • Develop and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships to reduce risks and promote positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services
  • Contribute to the development of service initiatives and projects to improve outcomes for young people and their families
Requirements
  • Nursing degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 12 months post-qualification experience in a mental health setting
  • Effective risk assessment and risk management skills
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet use
