Third Nexus Group Limited is seeking to hire a Lead Java Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, complemented by monthly visits to the office.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in cloud computing and container orchestration, particularly with Azure and Kubernetes. A solid understanding of networking principles is essential, along with proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and routing.
  • Utilize advanced monitoring and logging tools, such as Data Dog, Grafana, and the ELK stack, to ensure effective system oversight and troubleshooting.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment methodologies, ideally with Azure DevOps.
  • Exhibit proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Provide mentorship to fellow engineers on infrastructure engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and execute infrastructure solutions that prioritize reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Create and enhance automated tools and scripts for ongoing monitoring, deployment, and management of production environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate production challenges promptly, employing root cause analysis to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Assist projects in adopting improved operational methodologies through DevOps principles.
  • Support the team in identifying engineering tasks and prioritizing the backlog based on project and support requirements.
  • Devise innovative technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Enhance Infrastructure as Code testing capabilities through exemplary practices, documentation, and industry standards.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of relevant projects while addressing support tasks.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation alongside other team members.
