Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering results in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Provide support to sourcing and procurement activities, including strategic procurement initiatives and negotiations across multiple business units.
- Procurement Lifecycle Management: Take a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation and execution, and ongoing supplier performance and relationship management.
- Market Reviews and Innovation: Conduct and participate in market reviews with the supply chain to identify innovation and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Commodity/Manufacturing Capability Strategy: Drive the commodity/manufacturing capability strategy throughout the business.
- Procurement Innovation: Provide challenge into the conventional way of thinking and procuring, in order to develop innovative contracting solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage and influence internal stakeholders across the business.
- Essential: Demonstrable track record of manufacturing procurement/commercial acumen, supplier management experience, multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience, and proven skills of working within a complex supply chain environment.
- Desirable: Category management experience, passion for driving and implementing change, and CIPs qualified.
