We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Reed. This role is a critical part of our financial operations, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth management of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Management: Manage daily purchase ledger and sales ledger processing tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
  • Payroll Administration: Supervise and complete the weekly payroll process for approximately 50 employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Job Costing and Analysis: Conduct job costing analysis and generate associated reports to inform business decisions.
  • Credit Control: Perform credit control activities to ensure timely payments and maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department, including handling general tasks and assisting with ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: A good understanding of Excel is essential, and experience with Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 200 is beneficial but not essential.
