Support Worker for Young Parents

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide essential assistance at our Young Parents' Accommodation in Blackburn. This facility is committed to offering a safe and nurturing environment for young parents and their infants.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality support to young parents in managing their health and the development of their children.
  • Collaborating effectively with various professionals and organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Providing exceptional customer service while adopting a strengths-based approach to empower young parents in achieving their personal goals.
  • Facilitating the transition of young parents into independent living arrangements.

Shift Patterns:
Our accommodation operates a 24-hour support service, requiring staff to work a variety of shifts, including:
  • Day shifts: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Evening shifts: 2:30 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Night shifts: 9:30 pm – 8:00 am

Qualifications:
A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent experience is required for this role.
