HGV Driver - Live Sports Broadcasting

We are seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team at RBU Sales UK Ltd t/a iRecruit UK. As a HGV driver, you will be responsible for safely driving and operating our Outside Broadcast (OB) vehicles to and from racecourses across Britain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving Duties: Safely drive and operate OB vehicles to and from racecourses.
  • Technical Operations: Train to operate race coverage cameras and assist in the rigging, operation, and de-rigging of cameras, hoist vehicles, and other OB equipment.
  • General OB Tasks: Support the smooth operation and delivery of all technical services at racecourses and for our broadcast partners.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Fully HGV qualified with a good understanding of driver regulations.
  • Physical Fitness: Comfortable working at heights, in isolation, and exposed to the elements.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Passion for Horse Racing: A keen interest in or knowledge of horse racing is essential.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: Starting between £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + package.
  • Permanent Position: Stability with a full-time, permanent contract.
  • Unique Work Environment: Be part of live sports broadcasts at prestigious horse racing events.
