About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of a matched care approach, with a focus on multi-disciplinary working and psychological consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychological consultation and support to patients with complex psychological presentations and physical health difficulties.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive rehabilitation and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that address the biopsychosocial needs of patients.
  • Provide formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, and contribute to teaching and learning opportunities.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience in specific, evidence-based techniques for use with clients with complex psychological presentations and/or physical health difficulties.
  • Eligible for registration as a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist by the BPS.
  • Registered with Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Sufficient training and experience to be recognised by the Division of Neuropsychology as a suitably qualified psychologist to offer clinical placements to trainee Psychologists.
