About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Assistant Manager to join our team at Pret a Manger. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our back of house operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team to uphold Pret's high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering teamwork and camaraderie among team members.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly.
- Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, contributing to their professional growth within the company.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to optimize efficiency and productivity in serving customers.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for both Team members and customers.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control activities, including stock ordering, stock takes, and minimizing wastage.
