Job Description

Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, configuration, and continuous development of HR systems delivered through SAP SuccessFactors and other systems. This includes responding to customer and information management requests, project managing multiple changes, and helping to scope new process improvements to achieve the 'One Renesas' goal.

This role is accountable for developing and driving continuous improvement of system functionality, including data governance. The role requires delivering superior stakeholder management, governance, and roadmap planning to HR while working in close partnership with IT to deliver the roadmap.

The ideal candidate will possess a solution-oriented mindset and high-level technical understanding of system functionality. They will be able to think critically and provide guidance to stakeholders on complex issues, ensuring high levels of resolution, support, and customer satisfaction in line with company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of core modules within SuccessFactors and other HR technology.
  • Provide efficient and effective resolution to all employee queries and systems-specific requests, offering end-user support as needed and acting as a functional expert.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR Systems and Operations team, as well as third-party vendors, for system maintenance, first-line support for systems issues, and acting as a central point of contact for collating, troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating issues.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and assessment impact for enhancement requests, guiding and influencing stakeholders throughout, and raising Demand Requests with third-party providers as needed.
  • Manage system release cycles, including assessment impact and providing business updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on system configuration and testing workflows, as well as regular system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, including workbooks, training documentation, and change control systems such as JIRA.
  • Apply understanding of assigned business processes to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures.
  • Participate in operational project teams for relevant HR system implementations.
  • Closely work with the HRIT team on project delivery, tracking dates, and schedules.

Qualifications

  • SuccessFactors experience, mainly employee central.
  • HR Systems and operations process expert.
  • Experience of actively participating in continuous improvement projects from idea generation to implementation.
