Job Title: Clinical Psychosis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychosis Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. About the Role

As a Clinical Psychosis Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing a caseload of individuals with psychosis, providing evidence-based interventions and working closely with families and carers to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage a caseload of individuals with psychosis, providing evidence-based interventions and working closely with families and carers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, taking into account the individual's physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for service users.
  • Provide education and training to families and carers, empowering them to support their loved ones effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and services, ensuring that our care is innovative and responsive to the needs of our service users.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate individual with:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working with individuals with psychosis, preferably in a community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families and carers.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and care planning.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
