About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 teacher to join our team at a superb primary school in Hackney. As a Year 4 teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils, promoting academic excellence, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and pastoral care to Year 4 pupils, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, and encouraging pupils to develop their strengths and improve their weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry, and help pupils create engaging stories through writing.
  • Monitor pupils' progress and report back to parents as necessary.
