Senior Claims Operations Lead

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Claims Operations Lead to join our team at American International Group (AIG). As a key member of our UK Claims Operations Team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement initiatives and delivering service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement claims strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including claims teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners
- Collaborate with the International Claims Programme/Project Manager to deliver IT projects and prioritize IT audit & regulatory changes for the UK
- Lead projects independently and work closely with Claims Operations Analysts to deliver project plans
- Maintain project documentation, including reporting, plans, risk registers, and other relevant materials
- Report to managers and stakeholders as appropriate, providing regular updates on project progress and outcomes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project delivery and governance within the insurance industry, preferably within claims
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work at varying levels
- A Compliance, Governance, and/or audit, regulatory background with a good awareness of the business and regulatory environment
