About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Basingstoke Sports Centre. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective swimming lessons to our customers, helping them to develop their swimming skills and build confidence in the water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide a welcoming and helpful service to customers.
  • Ensure the safety and control of pupils within swimming lessons and enforce relevant regulations.
  • Actively encourage pupils to enroll on further courses and short courses.
  • Assist with new-enrollments and re-enrollments as required.
  • Understand and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure and Behaviour policy.
  • Record and complete relevant awards in line with expected standards.
  • Teach to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach.

Requirements:

  • STA Award or Certificate level or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
  • National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and relevant legislation.
  • Understanding of Child Protection Policy.
