Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Analyst to enhance our Group IT Cyber Security Team. This pivotal role is designed to safeguard the organization against Cyber Security threats on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the security of Kier's IT and data assets, both physical and logical, and will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish and uphold technical security standards and protocols.
Location: Flexible, hybrid working options available.
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time with flexible and part-time arrangements considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and represent Cyber Security in IT governance discussions.
- Assist in the deployment of Cyber Security solutions, focusing on the development of robust Identity and Access Management capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive technical security audits, vulnerability assessments, and threat analyses, implementing corrective actions for non-compliance.
- Oversee and manage security incidents and issues throughout their lifecycle, providing senior management with insights into operational security matters.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to ensure adherence to Cyber Security governance across all partnerships.
- Offer consultative guidance to Cyber Security stakeholders within Kier's operational framework, enabling informed risk management decisions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the Senior Information Security Analyst role will possess:
- Knowledge of various security standards such as List-X, List-N, and ISO 27001:2013, as well as Cyber Essentials Plus.
- An understanding of how emerging technologies impact information security needs and architecture.
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycles, IT service management, infrastructure operations, Enterprise Architecture, and ITIL frameworks.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in current security and IT systems, with the ability to adapt to evolving security technologies.
- Proven experience with Microsoft O365 Security tools, showcasing at least 12 months of practical application.
