Financial Analyst

Our client, a market leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

AAT study support and career progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reconciling multiple bank statements and maintaining accurate records.
• Reconciling purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Processing weekly payment runs and remittances, and performing month-end inter-company reconciliations.
• Calculating VAT liabilities and preparing VAT returns.
• Providing financial reporting to senior management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in all aspects of ledger work, a working knowledge of VAT returns, and proficiency in foreign currency transactions.

They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple entities, and be proficient in IT systems.
