About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of transformation and change projects that support our business growth, improve our efficiency, and make life easier for our people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Managing the delivery of transformation and change projects, including project planning, risk management, and vendor management.
- Risk Management: Identifying and managing risk, escalating where appropriate to stakeholders at all levels.
- Vendor Management: Liaising with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of requirements, products, and services.
- Financial Management: Taking responsibility for financial deliverables, working closely with business stakeholders and tracking spend.
- Collaboration: Working in partnership with the Group Technology team to support process mapping and embedding of change across the group.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of the PMO by sharing knowledge and experience to refine project governance processes, controls, and reporting.
- Communication & Risk: Effectively communicating project-related updates to stakeholders in monthly steering committees and weekly updates.
- Location: Predominantly based in Cullompton, with occasional travel to Gregory Group sites across the UK.
Essential Skills:
- Education: PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, or APM PMQ certified qualification(s) or equivalent.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering multiple projects concurrently, applying effective controls to manage risks & issues, budgets, and quality within a defined timeframe.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Teams, Jira).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to all levels of stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
- Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Why Gregory Distribution?
- Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
