Junior Resuscitation Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Resuscitation Practitioner to join our Resuscitation Service team at East and North Herts NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our resuscitation service.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Resuscitation Service team to ensure the standardization and development of the service, ensuring it meets the needs of East and North Herts NHS Trust staff.
- Participate in the planning, delivery, organization, and evaluation of training programs delivered by the department.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the resuscitation service delivery with other members of the team.
- Provide training for the general public in both adult and pediatric life support when required.
- Respond to calls for deteriorating patients and cardiac arrests, supported by Senior Resuscitation Practitioner.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A professional clinical qualification (RN, ODP, or Paramedic).
- Relevant post-basic qualification (ENB 100/998/124).
- RCUK ALS or EPALS provider Certificate.
- Generic Instructor Course Qualification (Resuscitation Council [UK]) or nomination of GIC instructor potential (within 4 years).
- ALS or EPALS Instructor/Instructor candidate/Instructor potential.
- Willingness to study and achieve further RCUK provider/instructor course certificates.
