About the Role:
We are seeking a calm, caring, and resilient Female Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with complex needs and behaviors that can challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily activities such as personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living tasks.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the individuals you support, promoting independence and developing life skills.
- Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure a person-centered approach.
- Contribute to the development of records and support plans, and act as a Keyworker when required.
- Support and maintain a clean-living environment appropriate to meet the individual's needs.
- Participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to the individual's needs.
Requirements:
- Calm, patient, and resilient individual with a strong sense of humor.
- Ability to work with individuals who have complex needs and behaviors that can challenge.
- Experience of working with individuals who have transitioned from an ATU setting to a supported living environment is desirable.
- Manual UK driving license and willingness to drive an alternative vehicle.
- Ability to work on a shift rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
