Job Title: Analytical Chemist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our team at Science Solutions Recruitment Ltd. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized tests, analyzing the results, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate analytical methods for organic and inorganic compounds
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Analyze data and report results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
- Experience in method development and validation for organic and inorganic analytical techniques
- Working knowledge of standard laboratory skills and techniques
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting
- Experience in mentoring junior staff
