About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Solicitor with contentious construction law experience to join our client's in-house legal team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest and most prestigious construction companies in the world, responsible for major projects across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting contentious matters, including adjudications and disputes
  • Supervising external solicitors and providing guidance on complex construction law matters
  • Assisting with training and know-how within the business, including the development of internal policies and procedures
  • Advising on the day-to-day conduct of adjudications and smaller disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in contentious construction law, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external solicitors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice on complex construction law matters
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
