EMEA Corporate Tax Manager

We are looking for a skilled professional to manage corporate tax compliance and advisory services for the EMEA region within the Wells Fargo organization. This position requires close collaboration with essential stakeholders in International Tax, finance, and various business units. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly US GAAP accounting for income tax amounts related to EMEA entities;
- Prepare and review income tax returns and financial statement disclosures for EMEA;
- Draft and evaluate tax technical and accounting memoranda;
- Enhance the efficiency of corporate tax compliance processes;
- Advise business units on income tax issues;
- Stay updated on new corporate tax regulations affecting EMEA entities;
- Manage corporate tax risks and audits for EMEA;
- Conduct corporate tax due diligence for new initiatives and business proposals;
- Maintain corporate tax relationships with EMEA tax authorities.
- CTA and/or ACA qualifications or equivalent;
- Experience in financial services or banking is preferred;
- Hands-on experience in compliance;
- Background in international corporate tax compliance and related matters;
- Experience in accounting or a combination of relevant work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Prior experience in international corporate tax compliance;
- Ability to provide effective guidance to stakeholders on tax matters;
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Capability to work independently;
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities;
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
