Role Description and Expectations

The Mid-Weight Copywriter is responsible for developing innovative ideas, creating concepts for advertising and promotional copy, and collaborating with the Creative and Client Service teams to ensure adherence to client marketing strategies and objectives within specified deadlines. They will also supervise the work of junior creatives on their projects.

  • Develops effective advertising campaigns that reflect the clients' objectives and demonstrates a strategic and tactical approach during meetings with clients and Client Service teams.
  • Contributes creative ideas that challenge the status quo and are appropriate to the client's marketing strategy.
  • Anticipates and solves creative problems proactively.
  • Presents concepts and creative work in an organized, professional, and effective style to clients, properly preparing for all client presentations.
  • Works on multiple projects simultaneously and delivers on client expectations and meets objectives consistently.
  • Monitors work and progress by supervising the work of junior creatives and providing support as needed.
  • Understands how budgets and schedules are developed and how this links to business and performance.
  • Ensures verification of facts and claims with science and regulatory groups at Klick.
  • Develops and seeks cross-discipline learning from colleagues and vendors to ensure the highest quality product within specified deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications, Writing, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience is preferred.
