Job Opportunity:

The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Neuroscience to develop and enhance research and teaching in our growing Department.

About the Department:

The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University has a core complement of over 40 members of academic staff and a thriving community of post-doctoral researchers and PhD students across the four research areas of Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Neuroscience and Neurocognition, and Social Processes.

Research Environment:

We embed research reproducibility and R-based teaching across the taught curriculum and actively support open science initiatives. Our research environment is ideal for testing participants at all life stages, with a rich suite of the latest technologies for examining neurocognition, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Multi-channel Transcranial electrical brain stimulation, several Electroencephalography setups, functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, eye-trackers, motion tracking, Virtual Reality Suites, Computational Neuroscience facilities, Biophysics, sound-proof Auditory laboratories, polysomnography, and functional Transcranial Doppler.
