About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Portfolio Procurement. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the sourcing of IT and IS services in the UK and Germany, with a focus on managed services, service integrations, testing, hardware, and platform sub-categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously maintain and update market insight regarding the IT & IS marketplace, best-practices, trends, key suppliers, and industry developments.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement documented category strategy plans in collaboration with senior stakeholders, focusing on operational and commercial efficiency.
  • Sourcing and Contract Management: Maintain a rolling sourcing plan, covering planned stakeholder initiatives, procurement initiatives, contract renewals, and supplier relationships.
  • Commercial Acumen: Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets, ensuring information security and confidentiality.
  • Supplier Management: Lead regular supplier review meetings, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IS procurement.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives and suppliers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT leadership and teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in managing and delivering new contracts and contract renewals.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies for sub-categories.
