Healthcare Facility Administrator

CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS A VALID PIN

Compensation: Up to £63,250 annually based on experience, plus potential 10% stakeholder bonus.

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week

Our newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation services. Located conveniently, our center offers spacious accommodations for up to 40 individuals, including specialized rehabilitation flats to support various stages of recovery.

Brainkind is a prominent charity in the UK dedicated to assisting individuals with acquired brain injuries in achieving greater independence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive management of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and treatment tailored to individual needs.
  • Lead and guide a multidisciplinary team to achieve objectives aligned with the strategic goals of Brainkind.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and relevant legislation.
  • Promote the facility to potential partners and stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage both organic and planned changes within the service to adapt to evolving demands.

Core Duties:

  • Provide professional leadership and hands-on management support, influencing staff practices and attitudes.
  • Supervise the senior management team and lead clinicians, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Oversee budget management, including capital and revenue allocations.
  • Handle recruitment and employment practices in compliance with employment law and contractual obligations, including training and support for staff.
  • Participate actively in management groups and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop and implement an annual business development strategy to enhance existing and new services.
  • Represent Brainkind at conferences and marketing events.
  • Manage on-call systems and provide out-of-hours support as necessary.
  • Ensure all individuals receive appropriate assessments and are involved in their care plans.
  • Oversee financial accounting systems for the facility.
  • Ensure the health, welfare, and safeguarding needs of all individuals are met in accordance with legislation.
  • Lead the review process in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring timely and professional reporting.

Candidate Profile:


• Must possess a valid PIN.


• Completion of QCF(NVQ) level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.


• In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements and legislation.


• Experience in managing high-quality residential services.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.


• Proven experience in managing budgets and financial systems.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.


• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when necessary.


• Willingness to travel for training and meetings.
