We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Service team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adults experiencing acute mental ill health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs, promoting recovery and independence.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
- Proven experience in acute mental health nursing, with a strong understanding of mental health legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
