Senior Automotive Technician

M4 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Senior Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all relevant maintenance and warranty works on Demonstration and Press Fleet vehicles to preserve optimum condition using manufacturers' processes and methods.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist team members to resolve any technical issues.
- Monitor and manage reports on workflow.
- Ensure the completion of all workshop documentation and compliance with the manufacturer's procedures.
- Inspect vehicles to establish any defects.
- Flexible working hours to cover shifts during holiday periods.
- Be responsible for housekeeping and paperwork within your work area.
- Interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins, and/or computer files and data and implement.
- Ensure that all Company equipment and tools are kept in a clean, safe condition at all times and report any shortage or damage/faulty equipment to the Head of Technical Operations.
- Help and support your colleagues, ensuring all daily targets are met.
- Assist in helping work on other clients' or manufacturers' vehicles where necessary, according to the needs of the business.
- Avoid any accidents and ensure the workshop areas are clean.
- Carry out other duties that may from time to time be reasonably required.
- City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies or Higher BTEC or equivalent.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in a workshop environment.
- A strong focus on quality and attention to detail and standards.
- Able to work with others and a team player.
- Manufacturer's training, including EV and Hybrid vehicles.
- Good level of industry knowledge/awareness.
- Willingness to complete manufacturer's training courses.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve high standards.
