Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Distribution Network in the East or West Midlands area. As a Head of Distribution Operations, you will be responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining our distribution system efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set direction and provide creative and innovative leadership to meet targets and motivate your team to ensure consistently high levels of customer service.
- Set objectives, monitor, and drive performance, and take accountability of Distribution activities in the Distribution Area.
- Ensure that all customer complaints in the Distribution Area are brought to a successful resolution.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and promote change, exercising a high degree of creativity and strategic vision.
- Collaborate with peers and key stakeholders to lead to successful outcomes for the East or West Midlands business.
- Support Team Managers on technical and organisational matters, influencing their decisions and the performance of the Distribution System and the Distribution Business.
- Provide information on the financial and operating performance of the Distribution business in comparison with agreed objectives.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent level of education is preferred but not essential.
- A satisfactory Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
