Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Estates Coordinator to proactively maintain high standards of maintenance and Health & Safety throughout our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopt a hands-on, practical, and flexible approach to property and facilities management.
  • Ensure all appliances, fixtures, and fittings are safe and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Display teamwork and flexibility, completing any reasonable tasks as required.
  • Effectively manage the maintenance team, focusing on personal and professional development, including rotas, holiday requests, appraisals, disciplinary actions, training, and development.
  • Utilize experience in mechanical, electrical, and joinery maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and flexibility.
  • Be adaptable and responsive to changes in job priorities, ensuring all priority maintenance jobs are completed.
  • Coordinate with contractors and raise purchase orders as necessary.
  • Attend training sessions and senior management meetings, sharing relevant information with the team.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Strong financial acumen is essential, with the ability to control costs and project manage with budgets to tight deadlines.
