Learning Mentor/Cover Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Mentor/Cover to join our team in Slough. As a Learning Mentor/Cover, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualised support to students, promoting their emotional well-being and aiding their academic growth.
- Mentor and guide students in their behavioural development, assisting them in setting and achieving personal and educational targets.
- Engage and assist with various learning activities and programs, implementing strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other learning mentors to create a comprehensive support network for each student.
- Previous experience working as a Behaviour or Learning Mentor is preferred.
- Experience in SEN, challenging behaviour, coaching, or youth work is also highly desirable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Empathetic, patient, and resilient nature.
